City of Toronto Local Appeal Body (“TLAB”) Effective 3 May 2017

Apr 04, 2017

On 29 March 2017, the City of Toronto passed Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 142 which implements the TLAB for Committee of Adjustment appeals effective 3 May 2017.

All Committee of Adjustment appeals in the City of Toronto filed on or after 3 May 2017 will be heard by the TLAB rather than the Ontario Municipal Board except in circumstances where there is a related appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board for the same matter (e.g. site plan, official plan amendment, plan of subdivision, or other Planning Act appeals).

For further information, please visit the City’s webpage here.
