Welcome to the Wood Bull Guides

Apr 04, 2018

On 3 April 2018, to coincide with Bill 139 (Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, 2017, S.O. 2017, c. 23) coming into effect, Wood Bull LLP published on-line versions of the following Guides:

Previously, Wood Bull LLP had published on-line The Ontario Heritage Act: A Sourcebook (The Wood Bull Guide to the Ontario Heritage Act).

The Wood Bull Guides are intended to provide reference works regarding the operation of these statutes and related regulations and rules that are relevant and easy to use.  The benefit of an on-line publication is that it can be updated regularly.  That is our intention.

The Wood Bull Guide to the Planning Act is being released for on-line publication in phases. The first phase addresses the changes to the Planning Act made by Bill 139. This phase will be enhanced and updated on an on-going basis  Subsequent phases will address the remaining provisions of the Planning Act and will be announced as they go on-line.

If you wish to be advised of the periodic updating releases or new information regarding any of the Guides, please email us your contact information. As well, please feel free to share with us any comments or suggestions on the Guides.

If you would like assistance in navigating the new territory established by Bill 139, we would be very happy to help.   Our contact information is available here
