Advocates for Effective OMB Reform (the “Advocates”) have filed a formal comprehensive submission with the Province respecting proposed Bill 139, Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, 2017, a copy of which is available here. Advocates is a group of over 20 senior municipal and land-use planning lawyers with extensive experience concerning a wide array of land-use planning matters. Some Wood Bull lawyers participated in the group.
The Province has extended its deadline for accepting submissions on Bill 139 until September 1, 2017. Submissions can be made online to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on the Environmental Registry (EBR Registry Numbers 013-0590).
